About Mt Joyce Horse Trails

Multi-use trails from the Western Trailhead, along the shoreline created by the Wyaralong Dam, and up onto the Mt Joyce ridgeline create an environment for horse-riders who are often limited in areas they can use for recreation.
The Western Trailhead will also connect to the planned Boonah to Ipswich Trail, giving riders even more opportunities for riding.

Please note: There are very limited watering facilities available at the site. Trail users should come prepared with a water supply for horses and must not water horses from the Wyaralong dam.

For your safety

Dams are part of the natural environment and visitors are reminded to be careful with local fauna. Visitors are encouraged to carry a first aid kit as mobile phone reception can be limited in some areas.
