Water Sports at Wyaralong Dam

Water sports enthusiasts can enjoy a range of non-motorised opportunities at the Mt Joyce Recreation Park.

Creating a point of difference to the nearby Moogerah and Maroon Dams, the Wyaralong Dam provides for non-motorised watercraft, such as canoes, kayaks, dinghies and small sail craft.

There is a boat ramp located at the Eastern Trailhead and a canoe launch point located at the Western Trailhead. Launching and retrieving of vessels is only permitted at these locations.

Fishing is permitted on the lake. At this stage no fishing permit is required.
